Madiou joined the Army prior to the war breaking out. In his career with The Big Red One, he fought in North Africa, Sicily and through Europe. He was in the original wave on D Day at Normandy. Madiou was severely injured at the Battle of the Bulge and sent back home after 5 years of battle. Sergeant Madiou was awarded 2 Bronze Stars and 2 Silver Stars. Growing up with his father created a love for our country and love for our military; which is the motivation behind Business4Vets and a commitment to honor his Hero father.
